Chemical resistance

Resistance depends on the chemical, its concentration, its temperature and how long it sits on the floor. Each product page carries a chemical resistance summary from its data sheet; for a specific concentration or an unlisted chemical, ask us — we test against the actual exposure rather than guess.

How to read the ratings

Data sheets rate resistance for immersion at room temperature unless stated. Splash and spill exposure with regular cleaning is less demanding than the immersion rating suggests. Hot exposure (above 60 °C) always needs confirmation — polyurethane cement systems such as Hycrete are the usual answer for hot washdown.
