Hychem Aero-Tuff Premium — Heavy-duty epoxy floor system for hangars, 2 mm

PRIMER – double prime the prepared surface using Hychem E100 or GP epoxy. Apply either by roller or trowel to ensure the surface is completely sealed.

SELF–SMOOTHING LAYER – apply minimum 2mm thick layer of either Hychem E300SL or SL20 at the required thickness in the desired colour. Please note that these products are not colour stable and will discolour when exposed to UV light.

UV STABLE, ANTI-SLIP TOPCOAT – where required apply by roller 1 or 2 coats of Hychem PU-200 UV stable pigmented coating to provide the required slip-resistance and surface finish.

It is important that all new or old concrete surfaces are thoroughly prepared before the application of any coating system. It is highly recommended that any surface preparation is carried out in accordance with industry standards and publications such as NACE 02203 item No. 22420 or ICRI Technical Guideline No. 03732.

Application techniques vary depending on the product being applied and the film thickness of the system.

Sealers and coatings are normally either spray or roller applied whilst high build 1mm+ topping systems are usually applied by a combination of roller and trowel.

Hychem floors can be cleaned using a mechanical scrubbing machine or similar using alkaline based cleaning agents for best results. All floors should be thoroughly rinsed with clean water following this procedure.
